Service quality has become a critical factor in determining customer satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term
business performance. In highly competitive markets, organizations can no longer depend solely on product
quality or price to retain customers. Customers increasingly evaluate organizations based on the quality,
reliability, responsiveness, and personalization of services they receive. This research paper examines the
impact of service quality on customer satisfaction and discusses the major dimensions through which service
quality influences customer perceptions. The study is based on a conceptual review of existing literature
and focuses on five widely recognized dimensions of service quality: tangibility, reliability, responsiveness,
assurance, and empathy. The paper finds that effective service delivery positively influences customer
satisfaction by meeting or exceeding customer expectations. Reliable services, prompt responses, competent
employees, and personalized attention contribute significantly to positive customer experiences. The study
concludes that organizations should continuously measure service quality and develop customer-oriented
strategies to improve satisfaction, loyalty, and competitive advantage.
